Sebastian Ayaaba
Brief Biography:
He began his educational journey at Notre Dame Minor Seminary Secondary School in Navrongo, where he studied from 1988 to 1993 and obtained his Ordinary Level Certificate. He then attended St. John Boscos Teacher Training College in Navrongo from 1993 to 1996, earning a Teachers’ Certificate A.
In 2000, Sebastian enrolled at the University of Ghana, Legon, where he pursued a degree in Political Science, graduating in 2003. He later returned to academia to complete his Master of Science in Information and Communication Technology at the Accra Institute of Technology (AiT) from 2011 to 2014.
Professionally, Sebastian served as the director of ICT for Afrikids Ghana, a non-governmental organization, for fifteen years. During his tenure, he provided consultancy services to various institutions, including the Navrongo-Bolgatanga Catholic Secretariat, Midwifery Training College in Bolgatanga, Trias Ghana, and PARDA Ghana. In 2020, he joined Bolgatanga Technical University as the director of ICT.
Sebastian has extensive training and work experience in ICT, with expertise in several areas such as hardware installation and configuration, technical support and training for users, emerging technologies and trends, digital marketing skills, network configuration and management, leadership and management, strategic planning, ICT governance, ICT infrastructure and systems management, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
